Johannes Kahrs
Johannes Kahrs has held numerous solo exhibitions in institutions such as the Kunsthalle Nürnberg; Staatliche Kunstsammlungen, Dresden; Centre PasquArt, Biel; GAMeC, Bergamo; Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art, London; Frac des Pays de la Loire, Carquefou; and Kunstverein München. His work has been included in group exhibitions internationally at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Dallas Museum of Art; San Francisco Museum of Art; Hayward Gallery, London; Museum Kunst Palast, Düsseldorf; Museo de Arte Contemporânea, Portugal; and the 13th Biennale de Lyon, France. Kahrs’ work is represented in the permanent collections of major museums worldwide including the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Museum of Modern Art, New York; Galerie Transit Leuven/Mechelen and S.M.A.K., Ghent.
